St. John's wort (or hypericum) is one of our more well-known herbs and has a long history of use as herbal medication for the nervous system. The most popular use of St. John's wort is to help with feelings of low mood. This may come about when events in your life do not go according to plan - you lose confidence and become more prone to anxiety. Contents: 1 tablet contains 40-73mg of extract (as dry extract) from fresh St John's wort (Hypericum perforatum L.) flowering herb (3.1-4.0:1). Extraction solvent: ethanol 68% V/V. Other ingredients used for the tablet are microcrystalline cellulose, maize starch, soya polysaccharide and hydrogenated cottonseed oil. Hyperiforce® St. John's wort is free from genetically modified ingredients.
Hyperiforce® may be used by adults (over 18 years of age) and the elderly. Dosage: Take 1 tablet 2 to 3 times day.Hyperiforce® St. John's wort is for oral use only. Do not take more than the recommended dosage. Taking too much is unlikely to be harmful.
Like all St. John's wort products, Hyperiforce® may cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Side effects of Hyperiforce® St. John's wort tablets are likely to affect less than 1 in every 1,000 people and may take the form of digestive symptoms (sickness, nausea, stomach discomfort, diarrhoea, constipation, loss of appetite) as well as skin reactions (itching, skin rash and urticaria).
In addition to using Hyperiforce® Hypericum, lifestyle changes may be helpful if you are suffering from low mood and mild anxiety.
