Ingredients: Citronella - Cymbopogon nardus

This is a Ceylon type Citronella from Sri Lanka, produced from the Lenabatu variety of citronella grass. The oil is steam distilled from the dried or partly dried grass.

Suggested Uses:

It is a refreshing, stimulating essential oil which has clarifying properties and is also useful as an insect repellent and in household cleaning products. It is yellow/brown in colour and has a strong, fresh, lemony scent which blends well with other citrus and woody oils

As an air freshener - 3 drops with 3 drops of Geranium and 2 drops of Pine with water in a spray bottle, shake well before spraying, avoiding polished surfaces and pets. As an insect repellent 2 drops with 2 drops of Cedarwood and 2 drops of Eucalyptus Citriodora in an oil burner or diffuser

Citronella comes in two main types - Java and Ceylon. We have introduced an oil from Sri Lanka, which is the only source of the Ceylon type, produced from the Lenabatu variety of citronella grass. Java-type is produced in many countries other than Indonesia, in particular China. 

Citronella grass grows up to 1.5 meters in height.
